Formed in 2009 Rivelino are one of the North-East’s most in demand cover bands. Regularly playing the region’s top live music venues and festivals, packing out and selling out venues, bars and clubs across the North-East. Rivelino’s enthusiastic delivery of Rock, Pop, Funk, Indie and Soul classics have made them a firm favourite with fans and the band work hard night after night to make sure no one leaves a Rivelino party disappointed
Covering music by Bruce Springsteen, Oasis, Bay City Rollers, Coldplay, Rolling Stones, Jackie Wilson, Kings of Leon, Rod Stewart, Stereophonics, Sam Cook, Paulo Nutini, Fleetwood Mac, U2 and many more with a unique fun style of delivery, humor & enthusiasm. Audience participation is hugely encouraged (if not demanded ) and we’re never averse to playing audience requests (or at least busking them badly) when the night demands it.
Available for pubs, clubs, corporate events & limited private functions we regularly play venues big and small including racecourse gigs at Ripon, Carlisle and Belfast, regular outdoor summer gigs at The Marine Park and Arbeia Roman Fort, all of the North-East’s premier Wedding Venues & Function suites (Slayley Hall, Beamish Hall, Newton Hall, Rainton Meadows Arena, Stadium of Light); various hotels (Hilton Newcastle, Marriott Sunderland, Little Haven) the best live music pub/club venues in the region.
